In El Calafate, the mighty Perito Moreno Glacier offers unforgettable displays of cracking ice, while across the border, Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park reveals soaring granite towers, sweeping pampas, vibrant lakes, and abundant wildlife. Farther south, Patagonia unfolds into remote fjords, channels, and ancient ice fields, evoking the profound sense of standing at the very edge of the world.

Patagonia is a vast region at the southern end of South America, shared by Argentina and Chile. It stretches from the Andes Mountains to the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, offering some of the most remote and spectacular landscapes in the world.
The best time to visit Patagonia is during the southern hemisphere summer, from October to April. These months offer longer daylight hours and milder weather, ideal for trekking, wildlife viewing, and outdoor activities.
Diverse landscapes: glaciers, mountains, lakes, and степpe
Unique wildlife encounters
World-class hiking and outdoor adventures
Rich culture and gastronomy
Remote, untouched natural beauty
Patagonia is not just a destination—it’s an unforgettable journey through some of the most spectacular landscapes on Earth. Whether you're looking for adventure, culture, or wildlife, this region offers experiences that will stay with you forever.
Top highlights include:
Torres del Paine National Park (iconic trekking and landscapes)
Perito Moreno Glacier (massive, active glacier)
El Chaltén (trekking capital of Argentina)
Ushuaia (end of the world)
San Carlos de Bariloche (lakes and alpine scenery)
Península Valdés & Puerto Madryn (wildlife watching, including whales, penguins, and marine life)
These destinations showcase the incredible diversity of Patagonia, from mountains and glaciers to rich coastal ecosystems.
Due to the vast distances and remote nature of Patagonia, getting around usually involves a combination of domestic flights, long-distance buses, and private transfers. Flying is the fastest way to connect major gateways like El Calafate, Ushuaia, and Punta Arenas, especially if you want to cover multiple regions efficiently.
Patagonia can be relatively expensive due to its remote location and logistics. However, it offers a range of options from budget to luxury, depending on your travel style.
Patagonia is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, both on land and along its coastlines. On the mainland, you can spot guanacos roaming freely, Andean condors soaring overhead, and foxes across the steppe, while elusive pumas inhabit more remote areas and national parks.
Along the coast, wildlife encounters become even more spectacular. In places like Península Valdés, visitors can see southern right whales (seasonally), Magellanic penguins, sea lions, and elephant seals. Further south, around Punta Arenas, it’s possible to spot Magellanic penguins, sea lions, and even humpback whales, while in Porvenir you can visit a unique colony of king penguins. This rich biodiversity makes Patagonia a dream destination for wildlife lovers and photographers alike.
A tailor-made itinerary helps optimize travel time, coordinate logistics across remote regions, and create a seamless experience focused on your interests, whether that’s trekking, wildlife, or scenic exploration.
Yes, Patagonia offers exceptional luxury lodges, boutique hotels, and tailor-made experiences that combine comfort with access to remote landscapes.
A typical Patagonia trip lasts 7 to 14 days, depending on how many areas you want to explore. Popular itineraries often combine regions like Torres del Paine National Park and Los Glaciares National Park.

Maria and her team looked after us so well. I would recommend them in a flash. It was 20 years since I had been to El Calafate so I didn't know what to expect. It had changed so much! Maria was helpful, honest, well priced and a pleasure to work with. You could not ask for more. We had the best time thanks to Maria and her organisation. Fernando was our driver to a tour and a delight. Punctual, knowledgeable and all round wonderful. Gracias!!
