Iguazú Falls and the Iberá Wetlands are among Argentina’s most extraordinary natural regions, where powerful landscapes and abundant wildlife come together. In Iguazú, hundreds of waterfalls cascade through lush subtropical rainforest, filling the air with mist, color, and the constant roar of rushing water. Walkways and trails wind through the jungle, bringing visitors close to toucans, butterflies, and the breathtaking power of Iguazú Falls, including the dramatic Devil’s Throat.
Further south, the atmosphere changes completely in the peaceful wetlands of Iberá Wetlands. Here, vast lagoons, marshes, and grasslands create a haven for wildlife. Capybaras rest along the water’s edge, caimans glide through the lagoons, and countless bird species fill the sky in one of South America’s most important conservation areas.
With years of experience designing tailor-made journeys, we create itineraries that adapt to your interests and travel style. Whether you prefer exploring jungle trails, taking boat safaris across quiet lagoons, joining nighttime wildlife outings, or discovering the culture of local communities, every journey is carefully planned. The result is a seamless and immersive experience that connects you with two of Argentina’s most vibrant natural landscapes.

Iguazu Falls is located in northeastern Argentina, in Misiones Province, on the border with Brazil inside Iguazú National Park. The Iberá Wetlands are located in neighboring Corrientes Province and form one of the largest freshwater wetland ecosystems in South America. Both destinations are often combined in nature-focused trips through northern Argentina.
Yes. Many travelers combine Iguazu Falls with the Iberá Wetlands in a single itinerary. Iguazu offers one of the most spectacular waterfall systems in the world, while Iberá is known for its wildlife and wetlands. The two destinations complement each other perfectly for travelers interested in nature and biodiversity.
Both destinations can be visited year-round. However, the most comfortable seasons are March–May and September–November, when temperatures are pleasant and there are fewer visitors. Summer months (December–February) bring stronger waterfalls but also higher heat and humidity.
Most travelers spend two days exploring Iguazu Falls. This allows enough time to visit the main circuits on the Argentine side, see the famous Devil’s Throat viewpoint, and optionally cross to the Brazilian side for panoramic views. A stay of two to three nights is recommended in the Iberá Wetlands. This gives visitors time to enjoy wildlife safaris, boat excursions, birdwatching, and guided walks through the wetlands.
The Iberá Wetlands are one of Argentina’s top wildlife destinations. Visitors commonly see capybaras, caimans, marsh deer, howler monkeys, giant anteaters, and hundreds of bird species. The region is also known for its conservation and rewilding programs.
Yes. Iguazu Falls is widely considered one of the most impressive waterfalls in the world. With more than 270 individual cascades surrounded by subtropical rainforest, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the highlights of travel in South America.
You can explore Iguazu Falls independently using the national park trails and visitor infrastructure. In the Iberá Wetlands, most activities are organized with local guides through lodges, which helps visitors spot wildlife and understand the ecosystem.
The closest airport to Iguazu Falls is Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (IGR), with regular flights from Buenos Aires. To reach the Iberá Wetlands, travelers usually fly to Corrientes or Posadas and then continue by road to one of the main access points.
Travelers should pack lightweight clothing, comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent, sunscreen, a rain jacket or poncho, and binoculars for wildlife watching. The climate is subtropical, so breathable clothing and sun protection are recommended.
Yes. Many visitors choose to see both sides of Iguazu Falls because they offer different perspectives. The Argentine side allows you to walk along trails close to the waterfalls, while the Brazilian side provides wide panoramic views of the entire waterfall system.

Maria and her team looked after us so well. I would recommend them in a flash. It was 20 years since I had been to El Calafate so I didn't know what to expect. It had changed so much! Maria was helpful, honest, well priced and a pleasure to work with. You could not ask for more. We had the best time thanks to Maria and her organisation. Fernando was our driver to a tour and a delight. Punctual, knowledgeable and all round wonderful. Gracias!!
