Mendoza, gateway to Argentina’s Cuyo region, is the heart of the country’s wine production. Upon arrival in Mendoza, your drive will transfer you to your hotel. On your second day in Mendoza, explore the enchanting Luján de Cuyo region in an active and unforgettable way, by bike! Known as the “Land of Malbec,” this area combines world-class vineyards, breathtaking Andean views, and a rich winemaking tradition. Accompanied by a local guide, visit two of the region’s most prestigious wineries: Bodega Vistalba, owned by Carlos Pulenta, where you’ll taste wines from the Tomero and Vistalba ranges, and Nieto Senetiner, a historic estate founded by Italian immigrants in 1888, where you’ll sample wines from the Nieto Senetiner and Don Nicanor lines. You’ll visit three outstanding wineries, Salentein, Domaine Bousquet, and Andeluna Cellars, each committed to excellence and innovation. At Domaine Bousquet, discover organic winemaking that reflects purity and character. Salentein, in Tunuyán, blends European craftsmanship with modern techniques to create exceptional varietals. Finally, at Andeluna Cellars, nestled at the foot of the Tupungato Volcano, enjoy a gourmet lunch paired with award-winning wines while taking in the breathtaking Andean scenery—a perfect finale to a day of flavor and discovery.

To start this journey, travelers will need to fly into Aeropuerto Internacional El Plumerillo Mendoza (MDZ), located just outside Mendoza City. This airport receives domestic flights from Buenos Aires (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery – AEP) and international connections via Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE).
Arrival Flight: Traveler flies from origin city to Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE) or Aeroparque (AEP), then connects with a domestic flight to Mendoza (MDZ).
Departure Flight: At the end of the itinerary, travelers will take a domestic flight from Mendoza (MDZ) back to Buenos Aires (EZE/AEP) for onward international connections.
