Weskar Patagonian Lodge is an intimate hotel located on the waterfront of Puerto Natales, overlooking the Última Esperanza Fjord and the surrounding mountains of Chilean Patagonia. Just 1,200 meters from the town center, the lodge can be reached on foot along the waterfront promenade. Weskar, meaning “hill” in the Kawésqar language, was designed to offer travelers a peaceful place to rest while enjoying the dramatic landscapes of Patagonia. Built with native lenga wood, the lodge combines a warm, family atmosphere with handcrafted wool textiles and photographs that reflect the beauty of the region.

Weskar Patagonian Lodge offers eight room categories: Standard Fjord-View Room, Standard Triple Fjord-View Room, Standard Patio-View Room, Superior Fjord-View Room (Casona), Superior Fjord-View Room, Triple Superior Fjord-View Room, Deluxe Fjord-View Room, and Family Fjord-View Room. Room sizes range from 18 m² to 35 m², with most categories offering views of the Última Esperanza Fjord. All rooms include a private bathroom, central heating, Wi-Fi, a safe, telephone, and hairdryer. The Deluxe Fjord-View Room also includes a coffee maker, bottled water, and bathrobes.

Gastronomy

Gastronomy is an important part of the Weskar experience. La Casona Restaurant combines the flavors of Chilean Patagonia with touches of homemade cuisine and enjoys panoramic views of the Última Esperanza Fjord and Puerto Natales. The kitchen works with local ingredients, including Magellanic lamb and beef from small regional producers and vegetables sourced from local organic growers. Homemade bread, regional beers, and a selection of Chilean wines complement the dining experience, while box lunches are also available for guests heading out on excursions. In addition to the restaurant, Weskar features a small Bar & Café, where guests can enjoy a Pisco Sour, gourmet coffee, hot chocolate, regional dishes, and the lodge's pastries while taking in the surrounding landscape.

Experiences

Weskar offers a selection of tours and outdoor experiences designed to help guests discover the landscapes of Chilean Patagonia. The official program includes a Full Day Torres del Paine, visiting some of the park's main viewpoints as well as the Milodón Cave Natural Monument; trekking experiences in the Torres del Paine area; navigation to the Grey Glacier; hiking at Cerro Benítez; and the Pingo Wild Horseback Ride around Laguna Sofía, the caves, and Sierra Señoret. These experiences combine Patagonia's mountains, forests, glaciers, wildlife, and cultural landscapes, with several tours including transportation and bilingual guides.
